Game-Violations

The sponsorship between Game-Violations and Esports-Eu is ending at the end of this month, therefore we had to find another server to replace it.
Luckily we found xFileServers.net willing to sponsor another server! This means that we have to change the GV scripts to include the new stream IP.
As of tomorrow - 06 Oct 2009, all servers that are still using the old scripts will STOP streaming.

New scripts have been release for the following games and are ready to download from the Downloads page.
All server admins are REQUIRED to update:

• CoD1
• CoD2
• CoD4
• CoD5

Changes made for these games:

1. Updated the pb_sv_logaddr for the new server.
2. Changed the pb_sv_logPort. Some of the games will have multiple ports to be used for the stream. Previously one game had one port, but now they can have up to 4 to spread the load.
3. Changed the stream password.
4. Included a ClanBase config for Call of Duty 1
5. Updated the ClanBase config for Call of Duty 4
6. Updated MD5 and CVAR checks for these games.
   

Streaming for the following games will be OFFLINE for a few days(max 3) until we are done preparing the server for this stream. Streaming information will stay the same for these games.

• SoF2
• BF2
• F.E.A.R.

We will post another newsitem when streaming for these games is back online. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
All other games that are not mentioned in this thread are NOT affected at the moment.

GVUCON
GVUCON will be OFFLINE until we finish the server move, we are very sorry for this but it may take a few days.

Admin Control System 2.0
Users who donated to Game-Violations will be able to use the Admin Control System 2.0 to update their servers with a single click.

Registration
Please note that in order to download the scripts, it is now mandatory to register on Game-Violations first. Please see this registration as a 'thank you' for our work, it will only take a minute of your time.

We have noticed that some server admins are trying to 'update' their server by changing the pb_sv_logaddr to the new streaming IP manually.

Please note that this was not the only change and your server will NOT stream after changing the pb_sv_logaddr. To correctly update your server you need to download the NEW streaming scripts and upload them to your server. For full details on how to update correctly, read here.

IMPORTANT ClanBase UPDATE FOR CALL OF DUTY 1
On 07-10-2009 ClanBase informed us that they've made a small mistake in the Call of Duty 1 scripts, we fixed this by releasing a new version of the scripts.
Change made:

pb_sv_cvar com_maxfps IN 40 250

Please make sure that you run the most up-to-date version of the scripts!

GVUCON will not work with the new scripts yet.. it says so in the the new item that GVUCON will be down for a few days.
